The Ibusa Like-minds Association also known as ILA is an Ibusa-based youth organization founded by Florence Bob-Okonkwo and Emeka Esogbue of Ibusa origins, Philip Ngozi Ifechukwude is also one of the founding executives of the Association. The Association was founded in 2008 to promote development and unity in the community by re-orientation and empowering of the youths of the community through seminars, workshops, discussion forums, and lectures which the organization organizes from time to time. The Association is non-partisan, and members are made to understand that they can contribute towards the development of the town socially, economically and politically no matter how small. == Aims and objectives == According to Emeka Esogbue, the major objective of setting up the organization is to foster unity and brotherhood among the teeming youths of the community whether at home or in Diaspora who must recognize that Ibusa is one〔Operation Develop Ibusa: A must for our youths, Anioma Journal, Vol. 3, No. 12, 2009〕 Other aims of the organization are to promote socio-cultural advancepment of Ibusa and Anioma, educational and intellectual growth and development, youth empowerment through skills acquisition programs, economic development of Ibusa through encouragement of entrepreneurship and investments in the town among others.
